Audition Notice
The Chesterfield Community Band is seeking a highly motivated musician for the position of
Conductor for its 2009 Performance season. To schedule an audition, qualified candidates should respond via e-mail
(please use the link below). You will receive audition materials and a scheduled time one week prior to your audition.
Candidates are encouraged to learn more about us through our web site and to play along with us for
our rehearsals on Monday nights at the Brandermill Church from 7:00 to 9:00 so that we may
get to know each other a little better.
It
is the mission of the Chesterfield Community Band to serve the social welfare of our community by providing local musicians
the opportunity to enjoy and develop their talents by participating in an all-volunteer, community-based concert band; by
entertaining and educating our audiences while performing at a variety of venues and events; and, by preserving
for future generations the rich catalogue of pieces for the wind band by practicing and performing this repertoire.
